Kea is rich in history and traditions.
i. The Archeological Museum in the central square of Ioulida is one of the most significant museums of Cyclades and it has been in operation since 1970. Parts of architectural structures, signs, sculptures, items of everyday use, pots and coins offer a representative picture of the island’s history.
ii. In the heart of Mylopotamos, one can visit the Argicultural Folklore and Cultural Museum of Kea which is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Kea’s cultural heritage. The museum is housed in a traditional stone building which was constructed in 1845.
